Free Deer Hunting Seminar       

A daylong deer hunting seminar on Saturday, October 25 in Central Vermont is offered to all youth and new hunters who have passed the basic Hunter Education course. According to the sponsors, the seminar will teach you everything you need to know to become a successful deer hunter.       

The Vermont Fish & Wildlife Department, Orion-The Hunters Institute, Eric Nuse and the Fly Rod Shop are sponsors of this FREE event. It is designed to be a day full of useful information and tips on deer hunting techniques. Topics will include how to read sign, tracking, scouting, deer hunting ethics, safety, and how to set up for success.       

There will also be a seminar on Sunday, October 26, on field dressing and preparing your deer for consumption.       

Date: October 25, 2008, rain or shine
Time: 9:00 am  4:30 pm (bring your lunch)
Location: Fly Rod Shop, Stowe, VT
