This area offers some of the best deer hunting Montana has to offer with both mule deer and whitetail deer in the area. The deer genetics are very good and we seem to be able to harvest a couple bucks in the 160 to 180 class every year. Most of our hunters will have an opportunity at a 120 to 140 class buck. more...

Most of our whitetail hunting is done along the Yellowstone River. The deer leave their bedding areas in the evening to feed on the cropland and return at dawn. We hunt them from ladder stands and ground blinds set up on trails to and from these feeding areas. Deer drives and still hunting can also be very effective at times. You can expect to see anywhere from ten to fifty deer a day and have opportunity at bucks ranging somewhere between 110 and 170+ B&C.

Our mule deer hunting is exceptional. We consistently take 4 point (one side) or better bucks with 25-28 inch outside spreads. We take Boone and Crocket bucks every year. 80% of the land we control has a "4 point rule". This means that a mule deer must have a total of four points on one side before you can shoot it.
