Most of our hunting is done within a couple of miles from camp and this area encompasses some of the better deer habitat in the area. We are also aided by the physical layout of the area in trying to pattern deer movement. This becomes a real factor late in the season when the coming winter starts deer moving off the ridges to lower ground and to wintering areas.
